hi i posted before about a death record for thomas but i was mistaken about where he died i thought it was strabane but he actually died at st joseph’s hospital ballybofey which when i search it up its showing that’s near stranorlar, co donegal how do i go about finding a death record down south as im only familiar with how to find one for the north? thanks

Republic of Ireland death records are available on the free site irishgenealogy.ie
I checked death records for the Stranolar registration district and there are no Thomas Kelly death records around 1962-1963. There is a record in 1958 for an 86 year old Thomas Kelly who lived in Ballybofey and a death record in 1957 for a 76 year old Thomas Kelly who lived in Lifford. After 1958 until 1973 there are no other records. I would discount the 1958 record because your Thomas Kelly would be around 71 in 1958.
