I'm looking to follow my Donald roots in Ireland and have hit a block at Thomas Donald b. 1845 Tipperary. Any recommendations for how to pursue this further? Thanks in advance
Amber:
The subscription site Roots Ireland has a February 13 1845 baptismal record for a Thomas McDonald in the Moycarkey RC parish. Parents were Martin McDonald and Mary Graham. I would treat this reocrd as a lead. The family lived in Coolcroo townland in Twomileborris civil parish. Do you have any information on the names of any siblings to Thomas?
Roger McDonnell
Wow thank you for the information and superfast response, I'll recheck my records to see if I managed to get anything on Thomas' siblings. Thank you again!
No unfortunately I have no leads on his siblings, only his offspring on the 1881 census https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q27G-WSX8 and 1871 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KDDR-N26?from=lynx1UIV8&tre…
