Thomas and Mary Doyle, Parish Davidstown Co Wexford circa 1850

I am looking for information on the family of Thomas and Mary Doyle from Parish Davidstown, Co Wexford. My family is sure they were in the area in the mid-1850s and we believe they were born and raised in the same area much if not all of their lives. Mary Doyle's maiden name was Maloney, she was from County Wexford, as well. I have not yet been able to locate the marriage records for Thomas and Mary; I'll keep searching since Mary Maloney Doylemay have come from a different parish though we know she came from Co Wexford.

They had at least three children and I was able to locate their baptismal records to confirm they were baptized in Davidstown:Mary Anne (or Marianne) DoB12/24/1847; Bridget DoB 11/26/1849;andFrancis DoB07/06/1852.

We believe both Francis (Frank) and Mary Anne emigrated together to America - Philadelphia - together approxiately 1880. They both settled to live out their days in Philadelphia. Frank Married Mary Kelly; they were my great grandparents. Mary Anne Doylenever married. We believe Bridget Doyle stayed behind in Ireland as we never heard anything further about her in the States.

Like you, I was unable to locate a marriage record. Likely Mary's parish was not Davidstown and her parish does not have records back to 1847 or earlier. I did search two subscription sites Roots Ireland and Find My Past and did not see a marriage record. I also looked for additional baptismal records on Find My Past in the Davidstown records but had no success but there were many more Doyle records that I did not get a chance to look it. I assume you have scanned the parish register https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0591 ; but if you have not, you may want to review.

You could also look at the civil death records on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie ; The records start in 1878 and possibly you may find records for Thomas, Mary and possibly Bridget. The registration district would be Enniscorthy.
