John Talbot and his wife Maryanne (nee Mc Causland) are reported in the 'Cork Constitution Cork, Republic of Ireland' dated 3rd May 1856 in Court to do with their divorce. Their property was at 'Summerhill near Mallow' and I would like information about this location. Was this an estate?
Thank you.
Benn Family:
Currently, Summer Hill is an area just to the south of Mallow town. https://mapcarta.com/18930776

Thank you Christina for that information.
May I ask you to send some links to the relevent family information. I am unsure wher to find that.
Many thanks
Betty
Betty, if you Google Talbot and McCausland divorce 1856 you will find the material.
I tried to look them up on Griffiths Valuation circa 1850s Found two Richard Talbots only in Co Cork. www.askaboutireland.ie
It would not give me any more information today. I feel Its been updated, so will work another day.
In the Tithes circa late 1820s it only gave list of enumerators a Richard Talbot mentioned.
Should you like to contact me my email address is mallow1@irelanfxo.com.
