The Irish given name Gabnait was anglicized in a number of different ways, including Gobinet and Debby, so those two mothers could well be the same person. The name is particularly popular in Kerry and nearby areas, because it is based on the name of a saint from there, Gobán.  In fact, Kilgobban/Kilgobbin means "Goban's church" (Cill Gobáin in Irish).  Gabnait is a woman's name based on the male saint's name.

You can see more info about the civil parish of Kilgobban here:

https://www.townlands.ie/kerry/kilgobban2/

Kilgobban is in the Catholic parish of Ballanvohir, as you may already know, and the parish records which are available online can be found here (going as far back as 1829), where it is free to search and you can download copies of the actual pages in the register:

Hi agin Roger and Thank you kevin45sfl for the reply

Roger and Kevin I wonder if either of you know the christian name "BENIA" as being Irish, sometimes spelt BINA. My gm was Benia, her parents were born Ireland. It did not come up on that Irish name website you gave me Roger.

Thanks so much

Lisa:

Possibly related to Sabina which was a somewhat common name. The wife of the current President of Ireland is Sabina Higgins.
