My great grandfather stated on his marriage certificate (1880) he was born in Waterford. On the birth certificate for my grand father he stated he was born in 1846 but we have no confirming information. We have no information on where he was born, his early life or how and when he came to Melbourne, Australia. I do know he was in Melbourne by 1865.
