Would love to get information on a Michel Darcy, born 1804 in County Wicklow; died 1882 in LaMotte, Iowa. He would most likely been single when emigrated as he married Johanna Sarah Rooney who was born in Quebec.Would also like any information on surviving relatives Thanks

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The subscription site Roots Ireland had two Michael Darcy baptismal records in 1804 in Co.Wicklow. Unless you have his parents names, there is no way to confirm either of these two records are for your ancestor. Also many parishes do not have records back to 1804.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the information. I have his mother’s name, Bridget Byrne, so was able to identify which one. Another puzzle piece in place!
