Seeking info for family ties to Granard, Longford

Searching for any info/link to my ancestors from Granard, Longford. My maternal Great Grandmother, Margaret Donahue [?Donohue], born 1884, daughter of Charles and Rose [Nugent of Rathowen]. Lived at Barrack street in Granard, house owned by Kiernan family. Her father was a "bootmaker", she was sent to England age 13 to serve as Parlour Maid, leaving parents and siblings behind. Will be visiting in late September 2017 and would love to connect with anyone knowing of the family.

Hi Laura, I have been asked to look at unanswered queries and far too late for your visit which I hope went well and enjoyed by all. Unless we had an actual volunteer in Grandard who knew relatives we would not post about living people and have a 100 year rule as to information.

If you are still interested there is a private Longford genealogy Facebook page if you wishe to join or you could search for a Granard one and they can be helpful as someone may be able to contact a relative.

Regards

Pat
