Looking for any info on my McMurray ancestors. I know Isaac McMurray was born in Armagh around 1865 and his parents were John McMurray and Ellen Henderson. Isaac emigrated to the USA sometime before his 1889 marriage in New York City.
Would appreciate any info on his siblings, parents, cousins, etc.
Thanks.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Civil registration of births started in Ireland in 1864. I don't see a civil birth index record for Isaac which tells me that he was born prior to 1864 despite showing age 24 on his 1889 marriage record in NYC. I checked on Roots Ireland for a baptismal record in Co. Armagh and there was no record. Don't know his religious denomination but presumably his parish is not on Roots.

He was definitely Church of Ireland, as was his wife Martha McNanie (McNeeny?) (b. 1865, Armagh) to Richard McNanie and his wife Jane McKenna. Anything on Martha? Thanks.
And this is their wedding certificate, indicating parent names. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
