Searching for my 3GGM , Brigit Mahoney Nee Collins (1791, Clonakilty - > 1830, Cork )

My 3GGPs , Sean (.John ) Mahoney married at St Mary’s RC Burns (Berrings ) via Iniscarra, Cork and had six children , five of whom reached adulthood . Mary (1815/6), Michael (1817), Jeremiah (1822-1821), Margaret Murphy (1823-??), my 2GGM , Cornelius (1825-1911) and Jeremiah (1827-1901). I’d love to know where Bridget was born , Clonakilty - is her family related to that of General Michael Collins (1890–1922) as he hails from Rosscarberry , SW Cork , and when she died snd her burial location ? Her daughter Margaret is also an enigma as I know not her exact DoD snd burial site . Any info on either , gratefully received . Cheers! TM

Cheers , Patricia . I have Margaret’s DoB and DoD , the birth of her 4 children but no DoD  in 1870’s nor burial location . In my GA’s diary , she states that her father told her his own mother died when he was in his mid teens ??

Hi Patricia , unfortunately , this Timothy Murphy who remarries A Margaret Dorney in Feb 1865 is not my 2GGF , as his parents , my 3GGPs are Timothy not Thomas Murphy , farmer , (1782-1852?) and Joana Linehan (1788-1853). Thanks for making the effort . I’ve been hunting for my Margaret’s DoD and burial location as well as those  of her husband and their respective parents ever since I took up family tree research upon my forced retirement in 2020. Hope a springs eternal , as they say????
