My Great-grandfather, Thomas Charles Carroll Sr. was born in Dun Laoghire in 1840, died 10-30-1912 in Broken Bow, Nebraska USA. He married Mary Dolan (born 1845) of Milltown on 5-12-1867 in County Louth, Parish District Togher. Mary died on 3-14-1917 in Springfield, IL USA.
We are planning on visiting Ireland in 2026, and would appreciate any information you have on Thomas and Mary. Thank you.

The civil marriage record shows the father of Thomas Carroll was John Carroll, a tailor. The father of Mary Dolan was John Dolan, a farmer.
On the subscription site Roots Ireland, I located a October 27 1867 baptismal record for a John Carroll with parents Thomas Carroll and Mary Dolan. RC parish was Termonfeckin. Family lived in Milltown.

Thank you so much for your quick response. I actually misspoke, because Thomas Charles Carroll Sr. was my Great-Great Grandfather., not Great Grandfather. He married Mary Dolan, and all I knew was that they had a son named Thomas Charles Carroll Jr., who was my great grandfather. I didn't know Thomas Jr. had a brother named John. At some point, Thomas Jr. immigrated to Illinois USA and married Barbara Frances Boll. Anyway, thank you for the information you shared. I am trying to piece it all together.
