Searching for ancestors of John and Anastasia Fitzgerald who emigrated to South Australia 1855

I am looking for ancestors of John Fitzgerald and Anastasia Fitzgerald nee Sullivan who emigrated to South Australia in 1855. They are my Great Great Grandparents on my Mothers side. I have found this information but cannot verify its accuracy.

John P FITZGERALD. Son of ???? FITZGERALD and ????? FITZGERALD. Born circa 1822 at Corofin, County Clare, Ireland.

Arrived in Australia 2 May 1855 at Port Adelaide on the SOUTH SEA.

Married first, before 1854 at Ireland, Anastasia SULLIVAN (born circa 1831 at Ireland, died 10 June 1899 at Parkside Hospital Adelaide South Australia, aged 68).

Died 16 August 1904 aged 83 at Booleroo, South Australia. Buried 18 August 1904 at Plot E31, Pekina, South Australia.

They had an infant child named Ellen who died and was buried at sea on the voyage to Australia.

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Brian, I am looking at old queries and find a marriage in Cork of a John F to Anastasia Sullivan, parish Aghada, 8th Jan. 1853, there is no other information recorded but you can see the entry here, search by event; month and year. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0003 ;

There was an Ellen born to this couple, baptised on the 6th August 1864 address is Finure, Aghada. This is the location https://www.townlands.ie/cork/imokilly/corkbeg/corkbeg/finure/ ;

As no parents are listed we would not locate a definite baptism for Johh or Anastasia.

Good Luck

Pat
