Samuel or William McConnell Belfast 1850 to 1870

My great great grandfather was Samuel McConnell born about 1838 . His father was aWilliam McConnell. I have a marriage certificate for Samuel when he married Jessie Gray from Kirkoswald in Scotland in 1859. They then immigrated to New Zealand in 1863. On Samuels marriage certificate it states that William was a Farm Implement maker. I see that there was a Smithfield Farming and Utensil manufactory back in 1812. Does anyone have any iinformation about these McConnells?

Can you attach the 1859 Scottish marriage certificate for us to see?

Is this Samuel McConnell in the 1861 street directory at 4 Stanley Place, Belfast. No sign of his father listed so perhaps dead or living outside Belfast?

I have tried to attach the marriage certificate but wont download unfortunately. Samuel and Jessie were married in the Presbyterian Church in Donegal St Belfast, not in Scotland. Samuels father was William , maybe he was a leather cutter. The church record says Agricultural implement maker but the actual marriage certificate says leather cutter. They were married 19/8/1859. Hope this is of some help.

Thank you Patricia , maybe that is the correct birth of Samuel and the reason why we cant find his father William in Belfast at all
