Ryans

Hi all

I am looking for the family (parents) of Michael Ryan, born in 1798 who married Mary Hanley in about 1824/5 - they had a son Patrick in 1822 and them emigrated to Newport, South Wales. Specifically around the Glenkeen/Borrisoleigh area - any information you can give me will be very much appreciated. Liz

Lizzy:

I searched on two different subscription sites (Roots Ireland and FindMyPast.ie) and did not locate the marriage record or any baptismal records for children of Michael and Mary.

You may want to consider a general DNA test which might give you some leads on your Ryan/Hanley family line.
