Thank you so much. It looks like on your information Mary is listed Mary is listed as Mary O'Calahan instead of Mary Callaghan as she is listed on Patricia's info. Maybe with further research I will be able to clear that up. I'm just grateful to know that the parents I had listed for Michael appear to be correct and that Patricia was able to find his siblings.

O'Calahan and Callaghan are just two of the various ways that the Irish surname Ó Ceallacháin was "anglicized", and people sometimes used different anglicized forms of their own surname over time.  Especially in Irish-speaking areas (which would have included that part of Kilkenny in the 1820's), it was often the parish priest or other official who chose how to anglicize or spell the name anyway, and the family (which might have been illiterate) wouldn't necessarily have known the difference (or even cared all that much).

It appears to be spelled with a "g" now.  Like surnames, townland names were anglicized in numerous ways, and the version used in records often varied over time.  The Irish form of the name has apparently not been clarified, but it was probably something like Faill na gCamán, meaning  "cliff of the ___s" [not sure which of several possibilities would go in the blank].  The small "g" before the capital "C" is a grammatical/pronunciation thing in Irish which often confused/confuses English speakers, so shifts from one letter to the other in anglicized forms are very common.

Just noticed the Foilnacanony form of the townland name mentioned above.   I suspect the Irish form was Faill na gCanón ("Cliff of the Canons" - referring to Augustinian friars who presumably once lived there).  In local dialect, that might also have been rendered [ungrammatically] as Faill na Canónaigh, yielding the Foilnacanony form.

Thank you so much for the information. I appreciate learning everything I can. I believe that there is a possibility that I have have the wrong location and father for my Michael Ryan but I am not sure. I'm going to try to research more to see if I can know for sure. There is no doubt that it is Michael Ryan and that he moved here from Ireland and died in Ohio however, there are quite a few to choose from so it looks like I need to make sure I have the right one.
