I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not see any baptismal records for the children you listed. Your subject line indicates the family may have lived near the Roscommon/Mayo border. Did they live near Ballaghaderreen? Baptismal records for that parish start in 1851.

I couldn't read your full message but assume you are looking for baptism records. Civil birth records were recorded starting in 1864. I checked both RootsIreland (paid subscription) and Ancestry. There is a tree from Ancestry with birth years. I believe she used census data and death records. The family was living in Manchester England in 1841.
John 1823, James 1826, Margaret 1828, Cecilia 1829, and Mary 1837
Hi Roger McDonnell & MaryTV
Huge thanks to you both for taking the time to research for me. Iβm very grateful.
It looks like there wonβt be any records available for those early dates!
Hopefully someone may have already got my family in their tree ( eternal optimist!).
I do have a Mary Bishop ( father Michael Bishop, mother? Sharkey), a cousin of my Sharkey. Iβm almost sure they were from Ballanaghagarreen π€·ββοΈ). Iβm hoping to visit the area either in Sept or next Spring!
Sincere thanks to you both

We don't know when John Sharkey died. Civil registration of deaths started in 1864. Looking at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation data for Castlemore civil parish, there were four Sharkey households in the townland of Lissian which is southeast of Ballaghaderreen. The names were John Sharkey, James Sharkey. Patrick Sharkey and Bartholomew Sharkey. Possible lead for your research.
