Rosannah Quigley

Rosannah Quigley was my 3x Great Grandmother. Born abt 1837 in Ireland. Fathers name James Quigley. Her 1st marriage was to Thomas Lynam (no record) and she appears in Gateshead 1866 as her son was born 2/1/1866 in Gateshead. Her husband Thomas Lynam died 1867 and in 1874 she married my 3X Great Grandfather Patrick Riley (Reilly). I would appreciate any help on where she came from in Ireland. Thank you

Rosanna could be the child of James Quigley and Mary Cuthbert from the Long Tower area of the city of Derry in Co. Derry in 1826. She had a little brother named James as well.

If you give DNA, you can look to see how many Cuthbert's you are related to, which would loosely confirm your suspicion. Google is telling me that many people from Derry went to Gateshead in the 1800's.
