My stepmother's father, Robert, was born in Ireland in 1941 and immigrated to Chicago illinois. He passed long before she and my father got together. I was wondering if anyone is able to get any more information on him without giving out the living people's information. All I am looking for is his mother's name and where in Ireland they lived.
I have found more things about some of them. The robert I was talking about was actually Robert Sr. I think his dad was Captain James P doyle and his mom was Patricia Curran Doyle. Some of my stepmother's uncles are mentioned in the obituary of her uncle. Donal Emmet Doyle passed in 2022, and it list the names of Michael, John, Phillip, and peter in the obituary. It also says he was from Dublin ireland, where Robert was likely from. Robert was the youngest or second youngest, so it is likely that this is his brother. Is there some way to confirm this?
