Margaret Richey was born in 1826 in Ireland. I don't know what year she came to America, but she married John Nelson Viall in Iowa around 1849-50. I haven't found her imigration records, but she is has listed Ireland on her marriage record.
Thomas Chandler born 1840 son Patrick Chandler of Ireland. Settled in Virginia. Again, unable to find additional records at this time

If you go to www.rootsireland.ie and search for margaret richey b.1826 (+- 5 yrs) you will get 6 records. As you dont have any parent information you will probably need to view these records and see if any family names jump out at you.
Better luck with Chandler. I searched for Thomas Chandler b.1840 father patrick, and found just one record in Co. KIlkenny. You will need to open this record to view but I'm guessing this is your man as the surname is so rare here.
