Rev James Stewart in west Donegal
James Stewart was rector of Killybegs from 24 Jan 1678 (J B Leslie, Raphoe Clergy & Parishes, 1940) and was still there in 1692 (Bishop Wm Smyth's visitation book). Does anyone know his story?

Churches and religious orders generally keep detailed records. Why not contact the Diocese of Raphoe? Also, the Donegal historical or heritage society?
