Recent Find of Gleeson in Galway

I've posted a few messages in my search for the Gleeson family in Galway. First started in Ballyhaunis in Mayo due to finding a Gret Uncles grave with the town name inscribed on it, but without success.

I wondered if they had been travelling to find work? My most recent find has been a Mary Gleeson. Born in 1795 in Clonbern, Glenamaddy Galway. This is close to other finds and in the right time frame for my Great Great Grandfather Andrew Gleeson who was born in 1794. Could it be a sister?

On some information I have it states she had one daughter and married a Waldron.

This piece shows a Mary Gleeson, correct dates but with a son Patrick?

Hi,

If you are speculating that Mary and Andrew are siblings, and Gleeson is their surname; unless Mary married someone with the same surname, I'd say this death record of Mary Gleeson in 1865 is her married name.

Carolyn

Thanks Carolyn
