Patrick and Mary Corcoran from Castlemaine, County Kerry.

I am trying to find more information about my great grandparents Patrick Corcoran born 1847 and his wife Mary (maiden name unknown) born 1855. Their probates both state they were from Castlemaine, County Kerry, Ireland and that they left to immigrate to New Zealand in 1876 where they settled in Oamaru. They had 2 daughters Johanna and Ellen, and 6 sons, Daniel, Thomas, Patrick Vincent, John, James and baby Thomas who lived3-4 mths and died in 1881(before older brother Thomas was born).Any info would be greatly appreciated. Their obituaries said they were active in the catholic Church. Thanks.

I have researched NZ historical records for the marriage details between 01/01/1860 and 31/12/1889 and there are only 2 records being a Mary Brosnihan in 1878 or a Mary Casserly in 1881 which either could fit as eldest daughter Johanna was born 1884 in Oamaru NZ. Would someone be able to check both options for a birth in the Castlemaine area? Just thought maybe Mary Brosnahan is the best option (as there was a baby Thomas born in 1881) that could have been Patrick's bride??Thanks
