O'Sullivans from Macroom

Greetings from Kansas City, MO, USA.

Wearelooking for connections to and/or history of ourO'Sullivan clan in theMacroon area, who were evicted by theMassey family from an area currently known as Masseytown in the earlier1800s. Our Irish family history also contends there was some sort of chieftain family connection (?)(this also checks out through more recent Y-DNA testing in FamilyTreeDNA)(possibly related to the O'Sullivan Beare line?). Florence O'Sullivan (my 2nd great grandfather,born(?) c.1806) is the last known contact from there;siblings/parents/and possible remaining relatives from that area unknown. Florencemoved to Fermoy sometime after the Massey family eviction andsettled there (our documentationsince that timearegood). Any help from the Ireland XO Macroom group on pre 1825would be greatly appreciated - this is a "brick wall' going back for ancestry connections for us at thepresent time. Thank you so, so much.

PS - We do hope to visit there sometime next year, as well.
