Old school records

I was wondering if there are old school records archived somewhere? I am searching for Mary Eyre, daughter of John Eyre and Mary Armit, who was born about 1838, 1839 possibly at Eyrecourt co. Galway. She would have been in school in the mid 1840's. There are no records of her birth or baptism. Her grave marker does not have any dates. Her death certificate only states she was 68 years old (died 1906). I was hoping that if there were any school recordsthat still exist, then possibly her birth date would be listedon her registration.I am also trying to find the dates of her siblings.

Are you aware of any school records for the town of Eyrecourt and where they could be? Also are you aware ofany other records that may contain her birth date?

There were two possible schools there in 1846.

Ladies' Hibernian Female Society's School,

Market street,

Endowed School,

Mister John Coen, B.A., master

I would be so grateful for any help you could offer me.

Kind regards,

Dear Nancy

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I have asked someone in Eyrecourt to get back to me about this and await a reply from her.  I will let you know as soon as I hear anything

Best wishes

In the UK, you would need to ask first at the school that you went to, at that point you need to apply to the executive of the leading group of governors, at that point, giving, that as far as possible hasn't passed at that point, you could conceivably be permitted to see them. Write My Essay. Falling flat that you could apply straightforwardly to your LEA, (nearby instruction specialist). I trust the records are held for quite a while after the individual has left school. Expect this makes a difference.

Thank you Stella.

She would have gone to school in about the 1840's, if at all.

What is the LEA?  I live in Canada, so I'm not familiar with some of the government agencies.

Hey, have you found what you were looking for? I am just curious. Moreover, I want to know how were schools in 1800 when there wasn't the internet, and people didn't have access to any kind of information. I don't know what I would have done without the Internet, as I always ask for help when I don't understand something. For example, I looked for College Cover Letter Examples when I needed to write one as I didn't know how and it helped me a lot. Thanks in advance for the reply.
