Hello,
I am looking for a website where I can find obituaries from the 1900s of my ancestors who lived in St, Mary's/Clonmel and in Old Bridge Clonmel. Can anyone sugget a good site?
Thank you in advance.
Barbara,
Hello Barbara, I would look at the Tipperary library first and see if they have any online or can you the name of the relative local paper, https://www.tipperarylibraries.ie/ YOu should be able to see the civil death records here https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp this will give you relative dates.
There are two subscription sites here that have newspapers, the British Newspaper one is sometimes better for the earlier records, but the Irish one is also available and you can see what paper is the best to suit. https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/ and https://www.irishnewsarchive.com/
Hopefully you can find something.
Good Luck
Pat
