Need help please! Looking for James McHugh, May Malloy, Annie McHugh & Family

Hello,

I am hitting a brick wall searching for my family from multiple generations.

Parents James McHugh married May Malloy

From what I was told they were born, raised, and passed in Ireland. I found both of their names listed on a daughters death certificate.

I know for sure they had 3 daughters (possibly sons also?)

Names i know are

Annie Mchugh -born in Ireland, immigrated to Pennsylvania USA married Timothy Boyle

Grace McHugh - born in Ireland, immigrated to Pennsylvania USA, married John Brislin (Breslin)

I cant seem to find any immigration info for the daughters, or the 3rd daughters info, nor can I find anything for James & May.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm guessing the 3 daughters were born sometime between 1840s-1860s as they had children born in 1870s&1880s

Sara.

On Ancestry I found this Death Certificate for an Annie McHugh Boyle. Was she born later than what you are projecting? Did Grace marry John Breslin in Pennsylvania or Ireland?

Sara:

I looked on the free site irishgenealogy.ie for all civil birth records in Ireland for an Anne McHugh born in either 1871-1872. There were twenty records but none had the parents names of James McHugh and May/Mary Molloy. Based on surnames, there is a good possibility that your family came from Co. Donegal.

Sara,

Are you sure your Annie and Grace were born in Ireland? Several US censuses have an Annie McHugh born in Pennsylvania, married to Timothy Boyle, one includes a Breslin niece.

Sara,

Maybe not the right family mentioned above. Grace Breslin is not mentioned in the obit June 2, 1905. When did Grace pass away?
