Mrs. LINDA FINN COPPLER

I am bringing my family , children and grandchildren to County Tipperary in June 2026 with hopes to find more information about my paternal ancestors:

PATRICK FINN (1837- Caher, Golden , Cashel & Emily Diocese.-1888 Martinsburg NY)) immigrated @1852 to NY with his mother, ELIZA CUNNINGHAM FINN(1797- Killenaule, Cashel& Emily Diocese- ?)

His father, PATRICK FINN (1799 Cashel, Cashel& Emily-?) His father, PATRICK FINN (?_?) and mother ,

MARY HORAN? FINN (?_?)

I have been attempting to find more information through various means, ANCESTRY.COM, Tipperary Excell Ancestry Research, and The Green Room but the above is the extent of my findings. Perhaps you may direct me to another source or someone locally who may know something about the FINNS or CUNNINGHAMS?

i was told the parish priest listed "Broken Cair" as Patrick (1837) residence? However no such place exists on any maps? His brother, RICHARD FINN(1834) and sister ELLEN FINN(1840) were also baptized there.

I haven't confirmed any property in Griffiths Valuation or the Tithe Applotment records.

I would surely appreciate any direction from you.

I recently located in the 1823-37 Tithe Applotment Books a Patrick Finn in Townland or Street = Caherbusta or Broken Care, Athassel. When I searched for either it brought up the Athassel Augustinian Priory .

Perhaps located on or near the street or townland?

Is anyone familiar with either these streets or Townlands? I cannot locate on any current maps. While I would not know where his property was located, perhaps just knowing the whereabouts or current name of that

road today would be an interesting find and worth traveling when we visit in June.
