Hi there , I’m looking for information about my great great grandfather Peter Mulligan. I believe he was born in 1837 in Ireland… maybe Tyrone or Donegal . He died in New Zealand around 1904. He married in New Zealand. Heni Pahoe. Any help would be gratefully appreciate.. Shaun longstaff

Our volunteers would need more information to assist you. Do you know Peter's parents names? Siblings? I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and found 29 Peter Mulligan baptismal records from 1832-1842 including eight in 1837. A good number of RC parishes do not have baptismal records back to 1837. If Peter was born in one of those parishes then no records will be available.
Have you considered a DNA test?

There are many public member trees on Ancestry for Peter's family. On some of them he is called "Thomas (Peta/Peter) Mulligan." So perhaps search on the name Thomas as well as Peter? Good luck.
