Moreland family

MeathMoyglare (Meath)

I am trying to get more info on my grandmother and her family . Her name was ELIZABETH MORELAND she had a brother called ANDREW MORELAND and their father was called WILLIAM MORELAND . In the 1911 census she was 14 and her brother was 7 . The father was listed as a widower. So I have no info on who my great grandmother was . They lived in moyglare I remember my mum mentioning barracks I don’t know if that’s to do with where they were living. I am trying to get info on my great grandmother and great grandfather WILLIAM and whoever his wife was .

Kind regards

Maria:

Found the two birth records for Elizabeth and Andrew but did not locate a marriage record.

fifth record down at this link  https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…;  Andrew Leo Moreland was born September 12 1903. His mother was Mary Anne Donoho.

Elizabeth was September 21 1896. Other shown as Mary Anne Donohoe  See last record at this link   https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…

See second record   https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…;  Mary Ellen? Moreland died December 31 1906. Daughter Mary was informant.  Did not find a birth record for Mary Moreland but located baptismal records for Thomas Moreland baptized in Drung Co. Cavan August 7 1887. and Patrick Joseph Moreland baptized August 19 1894 in Kilsherany parish in Co. Cavan. There was a notation that Patrick married September 24 1919 to Kate Chapman.

I think William Moreland's occupation as a grdener was the reason why the family moved around.
