Arriving 16/8/2022. Looking for Patrick Moran born 1821 married to Mary Grady . Emigrated to Canada in 1849. Formerly called Kings county. I am 75 and waited 50 years to make this trip. Any help is appreciated. Coming into Shannon
Pat:
I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and was not able to locate a marriage between Patrick Moran and Mary Grady anywhere in Ireland before 1849. Also, no baptismal records for children. Likely the services occurred in a parish that does not have records back to the 1840s.
Any other clues?
I did find three baptismal records around 1821 for a Patrick Moran but since I assume you don't have his parents names, we can't confirm any of these records. What was the name of the oldest son of Patrick and Mary?
Patt Moran baptized March 1 1821 Kilcormac RC parish father Robert Moran mother A. Crosby
Patrick Moran baptized November 1 1821 Lemanaghan RC parish father Peter Moran mother Mary Gavan
Patrick Moran baptized November 3 1822 Daingean RC parish father Patrick Moran mother Susan Dunne
Let me know if you have any questions.
