Would there be any information on a Michael John Egan born 16 Aug 1835 in Blessinton, Ireland and where could I find it? Really interested in his parents and family. He married, I believe, abt 1860 Mary Elizabeth Kirby. Probably in England as Mary was born there and their first 3 children were born in England. The last 3 children were born in Pennsylvania, USA.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and they had two Michael Egan baptismal records-the first in 1833 and the second 1835 with the same date, parents (see notes on surname of mother) and sponsors. We don't have access to the Blessington parish register to verify so I'm not sure which date is correct. Sometimes a child is born and dies in infancy and the next child of the same gender is given the same name but unlikely here because of the same date (August 16th)
