I am looking for any information about the marriage of or parents of Michael Carroll Born about 1830 in Ireland and Mary Whalen about 1843 in Ireland.
They had 4 children born in Cleveland Ohio,
Mary E,. born about 1865
Thomas (my great-grandfather),1867-1944
Sara A. born about 1870
and John. born about 1874

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not see a Michael Carroll/Mary Whalen marriage record in Ireland. I searched on Ancestry.com and found the family in the 1870 and 1880 censuses in Cleveland but a 1900 census did not popup. Did Michael die before 1900? I'm inclined to believe that the marriage was in America. Also, there are so many Michael Carroll and Mary Whalen baptismal records that we would need parents names to try to find records. I know you do not have the names.
