McCoy

Harry Donald McCoy was b. 14 May 1879 in Dublin,Ireland. He may have went to Canada before entering the States.He probably left Ireland in the late 1890's or early1900's. He is found in the 1905 census for Montevideo, Chippewa, Minnesota. It says he had been in Minnesota for four years. His wife Elizabeth Collins was b. 31 Aug. 1885 in Sparta, Chippewa, Minnesota. They md. 22 Jun 1904 in Montevideo. Their son Donald James was b. 18 Aug 1905 in Montevideo. Elizabeth's family were from Westmeath, Renfrew, Ontario, Canada and Dublin, Ireland. When Donald was a couple years old Harry Donald abandoned his wife and child. There are several stories as to why but I have been unable to prove or disprove either of them. We have several photos of Harry Donald one of them with him in front a flour mill Whitman Bro.'s in Minn. I Presumably he was the only Family member to leave Ireland. The marriage certificate has no helpful clues or unknown information. He is found in Washington and Colorado in 1912. He md. 2 more times. There are numerous records but he gives conflicting information on all of them. He had no additional children. I find no dna matches with my 2 children or any of their McCoy cousins.
