There are 121 McCaveney R.C. baptisms between 1828-1899 recorded on RootsIreland (paid subscription) in Aghagallon and no marriages. Based on the 1901 census it looks like your family was Church of Ireland.

Have you checked the 1901/11 censuses?

I did find this marriage record

Date of Thomas’s date of death was 21.10.1865. GRONI has the name as McCavinagh. You can view the certificate on the GRONI website for £2.50.

For places of burial I would check Aghagallon COI and RC graveyards, as well as those in Lurgan.  Many people were too poor to afford a gravestone so he could be in an unmarked grave. The COI generally kept burial records, the RC church usually did not. There are Aghagallon/Aghalee COI burial records for 1865, but none for the RC parish. Seagoe COI & RC do both have burials for 1863. Shankill COI has burials for 1865, but the RC parish does not. Copies of the surviving records are in PRONI.
