. .I am trying to trace Thomas Mc Cauley and Alice Cassidy who lived in Gubaveeney. They had two children born while living there. Patrick Mc Cauley 27th Feb 1871, Anne Mc Cauley 10th Oct 1874. their other son Philip Mc Cauley my Grandfather was born 1883 aprox Death 1956
A transcription at RootsIreland shows the couple married in the parish of Killinagh, Co. Cavan on 6 Feb. 1871. Townland was "Baran." You can see the church marriage register at rootsireland.ie and the civil marriage record at irishgenealogy.ie.
Thomas & Alice’s marriage. He was living in Barran at the time. I think Alice came from Gubaveeney:
