Adele,
I could not find Shanahan Cottages.
I found this posting on Rootschat
'My great-great grandmother was Mary Shanahan (later Shannon), baptised 5 April 1829 at Knockainy parish, Limerick. Parents were Matthew Shanahan and Honora Simms. She emigrated to Australia, married a police superintendent's son, and had lots of kids in Melbourne and New Zealand. If you're still planning a reunion, count me in!'
There is a record on RootIreland (paid subscription) for Mary Shannahan, born April 5, 1829, in Knockainey and Patrickswell parish, Limerick to Matthew Shannahan and Norry Simms.
Regards- Mary
