Ann,
To assist volunteers. Is the Kilkelly you are referring to. Kilkelly - Wikipedia
There are numerous Duffys in the Kilmovee area. Can you provide additional info about Mary- age, did she stay there, when did she leave, to where, whom did she marry, when and where, when and where did she die.?
Is James Kilgallon also from Knockbrack? Any other info you can provide on him.
Regards- Mary
Ann:
Is the 15 year old Maria in this census record https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Mayo/Kilkelly/Knockbrack/1595305/ your Mary Duffy? Her mother is also Mary.

Hi Mary, my great grandmother Mary Duffy came from Knockbrack, she was born around 1822, her father name was Anthony Duffy. she married a Patrick Hunt on February 13th 1840. She moved to Dernalecka after her marriage and she died in 1901 when she was 79 years old. My great great great grandfather James Kilgallon came from Kiltimagh
I have a large Duffy ancestor on my Ancestry uk tree
John Duffy snr B abt 1801 Tombola Mayo
Harriet (no s'name) b abt Aghamore Mayo
We're married ?? Had children births about Mary1833 Margaret1836 Catherine1840 hanna1839 Patrick1842/5 & John jnr1845/6
They were all born in Aghamore Mayo according to John's wife & children's family history.
Circa 1852 entire family moves to Kingston upon Hull (Hull) East Riding of Yorkshire England.
They were not in 1851 census but are in other BMD records & census in Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, England. And Catholic Chappel St Charles borromeo Jarret St. Kingston upon Hull Yorkshire England records for marriages & some Baptisms.
If you think your Mary was a sister or cousin perhaps we can compare the data/research we have Best regards Suzy Young
Ann,
Thank you for this info. I checked on Ancestry and there are 40 trees. Most of them show Michael Duffy and Honora Fergus as her parents, born 1822 (i assume based on her death record). Anthony was a witness at her marriage.
