Marriage 1873 Jane Fitzgerald

Hi folks,

I was wondering if some kind soul could do a look up for me for the actual marriage that took place in Fermoy, Cork, Ireland on the 24 Dec 1873 between Jane Fitzgerald and James Murdoch/Murdock.  I have tried rootsireland website, ancestry, findmypast and other websites but have been successful in find a copy.

What I am hoping to show on the record is the parents names listed for both individuals.  I believe that James' parents should be Acheson Murdoch/Murdock and Eliza Anne Tweedy. Jane's father is said to be Patrick Fitzgerald but I don't have a mother's name for Jane. Hoping that by getting this information it will help me further research for siblings to James and Jane.  I know they came to Queensland, Australia in 1874 and found death of James in 1906 but have not been able to locate death of Jane.

Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Sharon,

Attached is their civil marriage record from the free site irishgenealogy.ie The mother's names are never listed.

The two witnesses, John Fitzgerald and Margaret Fitzgerald might be Jane's siblings. I looked at the Griffith's Valuation for the two town lands listed in the marriage record..both are in the RC parish of Kilworth, civil parish of Macroney; but there were no Murdocks or Fitzgeralds listed. This parish borders Tipperary, so they might be from there or elsewhere. The residence listed is where they lived at the time of their marriage. I did a brief search in Cork for both of their baptisms, but did not find any records.

Regards.

Carolyn

Death cert for a Patrick Fitzgerald died 1874, his address is similar to that on the marriage cert for Jane and James and the death was notified by John Fitzgerald, I noticed the marriage cert was witnessed by a John also.  https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/files/civil/deaths_returns/deaths_1874/020668/7252003.pdf
