My paternal grandmother Margaret Sheehan was born in Looscaun, Galway in 1887-89. I cannot find evidence of her birth, or baptism. Her father was Patrick Sheehan. I wonder if anyone could help find any details of her birth and family please.
Hi Liz,
would this be the family in 1901 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Galway/Woodford/Cloneo…
If so there is a good chance that this is the 1884 birth of Maragret https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…
Hi Jim
Thank you so much for your prompt response, I am very grateful for your help. Yes I think this is the family and Margaret's birth details. Do you have access to any other information regarding the family?
Best wishes
Liz
