Margaret Drenan and Martin Connor

Hi all.

First of all I would like to wish you all a very happy St Patricks day. Lockdown has been hard for everyone and it has given me more time to research my families in Ireland. Since my last message last year I have worked on links in Australia and the USA and have gone back two generations.

I found that my DNA linked from Maurice Connor and Eleanor Murphy to Michael Connor b.1769, Rathdowney, Laois and Eleanor Maher b. 1780 Kilkenny, Ossory. Their parents were Martin Connor b.1745, Laois and Margaret Drenan b.1748, Ballynakill, Laois. I appreciate how hard it is to track down records and I am thrilled that I can go back as far as 1745.

I would be eternally greatful if anyone who may have a link to these families could drop me a line.

Kindest regards

Rob Evans ( Connor )
