First thing I miss typed my name it is Pat a good Irish name. Not good on the keyboard. Ha

This info looks very promising. Dennis O'Keefe looks like the right person and matches that dates that I have. I have tried to find an immigration records of Dennis entering the United states with out much luck. So this is very good.

Margaret O'Keefe in the 1910 Census list her age as 32 and that is in the range that I would say could very well be a match. Also many of the DNA matches have O'Keefe's coming from Brosna area. I also keep seeing the Surname Keane in many tree's so that could help me find the connections. Margaret being a Cousin to Dennis makes sense to me because he was listed as a boarder.

I saw this birth registeration for Mary Keeffe 1880 which seems probable as related.  It seems Elizabeth/Lizzie/Bess/Eliza were all forms used on documents.

Thank you for these records. I would say this verifies the correct family for Denis O'Keefe who passed away in Chicago 1910. As I mentioned Denis was a border with Margaret Anne O'Keefe in 1910 and Margaret was the informant on his death cert. Now I am trying to find out if Margaret and Denis were related in any way. Margaret passed in 1964 and is buried in the same cemetery plot as Denis so this leads me to believe that they are related in some way, maybe cousins. In the first response from Roger is a birth record for Margaret listing parents as Dennis and Ellen of Kilmaniheen do you think Knockbrack and Kilmaniheen are close enough that these families could be related?

Thanks for your help and any advice to find the connection of these two families.

The two locations are opposite sides of the town of Tralee about 20Km in each direction so it is possible. I did notice that the same family names recurred for the Keeffe family across the period 1875 -1890 (the period I checked for births). It appears there was  a large family of Keeffe's, Cornelius, Benjamin, David, Daniel, Denis, Patrick, Francis etc, they maybe related as brothers/cousins etc but they all named their children the same names, the boys names as the brothers/cousins and the girls names Mary/Margaret/Catherine/Bridget/Eliza/Honoria etc so there is definately a relationship , I will check later and post what I find.

I checked for Margaret Keeffe births between 1874 and 1888 and there were 8 listed. There was only one listed for 1883 details as follows

For some reason my computer keeps locking up when I am on this site. I am using my IPhone which isn’t easy. I am get to get a new laptop in the next few days. The informant for Mary Keeffe birth 1880 was Bess Keeffe this could be Frank’ s mother?
