Mannions of Dorrha/Lorrha

Help.

I am researching our family history.

Three brothers emmigrated to Australia: Thomas Mannion (b c1819 Tipperary, d 1857 Bulla, Victoria); Francis Mannion (b c1827 Dorrha, died 1888 Mundoona, Victoria) and Thomas (b c1830 Lorrha, died 1902 Corop Victoria), My wife is a descendant of Francis.

On the Death Certiciate for Francis, his parents are listed as Matthew Mannion and Mary Redden.

Francis and Thomas arrived in Sydney together on the 19th of May 1852 (aboard the "David Mciver") according to their immigration papers, their parents are dead, they are Roman Catholics, can read and write, are farm labourers and are in good health. The David McIver sailed from Liverpool in Late December 1851 to Plymouth than to Sydney.

I can find no record of Thomas travelling to Australia.

Timothynever married.

Thomas married Sarah McCarthy (b c1839 Tipperary, d 1919 Kew, Victoria) in 1859 in Melbourne, Victoria. J have not been able to find any death records for Sarah so I don't know her parents.

Francis married Ellen Maria Meara (b c1833 Tipperary, d 1904 Ashton, Victoria) in Adelaide, South Australiain 1859. At the time Francis was farming near Melbourne and I suspect he may have known the bride because Adelaide an Melbounre are a long way apart.

On the death certificate forEllen Maria Meara (b c1833 Tipperary, d 1904 Ashton, Victoria), her parents are listed as William Meara and Mary Adair,

Interestingly, my wife's maiden name is McIntyre and they came to Australia from Birr.
