John & Honora Maher with son William emigrated to the U.S. from Ireland in about 1850. John was born in 1819 County Tipperary and Honora in 1819 County Kilkenny. William was baptized in the Cashel & Emly diocese in 1847. The family's next child was born in St. Louis Missouri in 1852. The port in New Orleans would have been probably been the disembarkation. Do you have a record for William's baptism? Other than birth and baptism records birthdates are not always accurate. They did not celebrate birthdates and sometimes other records can range 10 +/- years

Honora's maiden name was Scott, originally from County Kilkenny. Her parent were William & Catherine (nee Ryan). The record above for her marriage to John Maher is correct. I've attached her baptism and marriage record. Also attached is William's baptism record in Ireland in 1849 and his brother James born in the U.S. St. Lous Missouri in 1854. Brother John (listed above) was also born in St. Louis in 1852 but haven't found his baptism record. Obviously, the family left Ireland between 1849 and 1852 but I've not been able to find any emigration records for the family.
John Maher listed above is a father and son. Honora passed away in 1869 according to church records.
