Mac Conshnamhas and Fordes
LeitrimInishmagrath (Leitrim)
My grandfather Bernard Forde was born in 1862 in Fenagh, Leitrim. But his family came originally from Ballinaglera, and it is likely that even earlier, from Inishmagrath. I've enjoyed exploring the medieval history of the Mac Conshnamhas and the O'Rourkes. Would be happy to connect with other Fordes who go back to Leitrim and are interested in history.
