Dear emheaston:
Thank you for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board and welcome to the site!
Your ancestor's dates of birth are very early in the 1800s and may not be available in any of the parish registers. However, for Bridget Brown who is born in County Clare, you might take a look at the website for the Clare Library at the link below:
http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/genealog.htm
With regard to James Lynch, as you know the parish, the parish registers for Croagh are available online through the National Library of Ireland. Unfortunately, they only begin in 1836, but they are worth looking at to see if there are other family members (such as siblings). The link for the parish registers is below:
https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0880
In addition, you might also check the Limerick Archives website which is below:
https://www.limerick.ie/archives
If you have any further information about possible siblings or first names that may be associated with each family, please post them here. You might find it helpful to see if you can access through Ancestry naturalisation documents for either of your greatx3 grandparents. They can often have clues which may assist. If you have an obituary for either person, that may often give more information.
You might also consider creating an ancestor profile for either James or Bridget under the XO Chronicles tab. These profiles are ready by all our members who may be researching the same families and will be able to assist you further.
The link for the XO Chronicles is below:

If you have any further questions or need further assistance, please email me at: jhalloranryan@irelandxo.com.
The very best of luck with your research and thanks for your interest in Ireland Reaching Out!
Kind regards,
Jane.
This is my 4th great grandfather on my fathers side.
