Lynch and Tuohy in Gurteeny

GalwayWoodford Looscaun (Galway)

From the Tithe Applotment, 1834, Galway, Parish of Ballinakill, Townland Gurteeny:

Michael Lynch

Edmund Tuohy

Patrick Tuohy

William Tuohy, Sr and Jr

Can anyone provide information about Michael Lynch noted above and below? Did he marry into any of the Tuohy families from Gurteeny? I found some early Woodford Parish baptisms where Michael Lynch is the father, but I have not been able to find anything else about these couples:

Michael Lynch and Fanny? Roonan

John Lynch b. 1821 (sp. John Tuohy and Susan Roonan)

Michael Lynch and Judith Tuohy

Mary Lynch b. 1824 (sp. John Spain and Mary Spain)

Michael Lynch and Mary Tuohy

Catherine Lynch b. 1826 (sp. Michael Fahy and Honora Tuohy)

Michael Lynch and Anastasia Tuohy

Margaret Lynch b. 1831 (sp. Patrick Conry and Mary Tuohy)

Thank you,

Liz

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

We have a parish liaison for Woodford and I will alert her that you have posted a message. Let me know if you have not heard back in two weeks or so.

Hi Liz! Naturally, we both wind up here, great to find you here, too. I'm still working on some of the Lynch mysteries also, as you already know, and look forward to seeing what I can track down when I go over to Ireland in late Aug of this year.  Feel free to put together a list of some burning questions for any of our lines and email it to me (you have my addy) and I will tote it over with me. I will also be going through microfilm here in the states using some of the listed FHL film numbers on Ancestry as clues.  Best, Jane
