Looking for Thomas McCool
Am tracing my roots...goes back to Thomas McCool from Rasharkin (Antrim) who married Catherine Mulholland in the mid 19th Century..they then emigrated to Ontario, Canadian

Griffith's Valuation of Antrim, 1862, lists one McCool as head of household in Rasharkin:
Joseph McCool in townland of Moneyleck.

In the 1796 Flax Growers List, there was the following McCool in Rasharkin:
M'Cool Alexander Rasharkin Antrim

Thomas and Catherine were in Ontario in 1842 when their son Alexander McCool married. Thus they could not have married in the mid-19th century. Would you check the details you might have for the McCools and send them on to us? Thanks.
