Any idea what county(ies) these individuals were from?
Is it possible that the surname was McGinnis or McGuinness? Was Bernard a brother of Patrick? I searched for a civil marriage record for Bernard and Jane under Jane McMillan from 1845-1900 but did not find a record. Also did not find a Patrick Shearman marriage to Elizabeth McManes,

Hi Roger Thanks for getting back to me. The info I have for Patrick Mcginnie is from a 1891 Edinburgh census stating he was born in Dublin but my Granny always said he was from County Cork. Bernard and Jane where his parents, I think he could also have had a brother named Bernard. I dont have any further info on Patrick Shearman 1818 and Elizabeth McManes1819 other than a 1841 Dumfiesshire Scotland census stating Ireland as their birthplace. Thank you for checking this for me Charmaigne Leslie
