Looking for relatives of James Joseph Doyle (Wexford, 1867 - Dublin, 1944).

Hi all - first post!

I am first generation Canadian, doing some family research ahead of my first ever trip to Ireland in June 2026. I am looking for some information about my Dad's father's family. James Doyle is my great-grandfather and was born in Wexford, 1867. I know he spent some time living in Belfast (Grandpa was born there) and the family left Belfast for Dublin during the Troubles of 1920-1922.

Thanks in advance for anything anyone knows about James Doyle (or any other connected Doyles!).

James Doyle was a common name in Wexford. Do you know his parents' names, his wife, his children? Any info would be helpful in trying to identify him.

Is that your tree on Ancestry...Achincloss/Doyle tree? You appear to have a lot of information about his parents, siblings, wife and children already. Are you in search of living relatives?
