Looking for Mim and Bonnie Mitchell - son Norman Mitchell linen business

I am starting in on family history. The story is that we are related to John Mitchel, the Irish leader who wrote the " Jail Journal" and worked to end oppression. The challenge is I have limited data. My grandfather was Norman Mitchell, born in Ireland and son of Bonnie and Mimi Mitchell. Any data or suggestions on how to search are oh so welcome. I have photos of them but no dates of their birth, death, or union. And yes, plan to visit Ireland in future.

Iea,

A good idea in starting geneaIogy is to begin with yourseIf and work backward through the records--researching your parents, then grandparents, etc.

When was Norman born? What was his father's name? Did he emigrate? ChiIdren's names? Spouse?

Anything you can provide wiII assist the voIunteers.

Lea:

There are eight Norman Mitchell civil birth records from 1864-1925. The names of the parents on the eight records did not show a Mim and Bonnie. What year was Norman born? Linen business would usually mean Northern Ireland and some of the records are in Belfast.
